The real story here is how many of those songs are by the original artists. Masters for artists like Rolling Stones, Smashing Pumpkins, and Weezer are big gets for this developer, particularly since Rock Band will be entering as a competitor with no covers. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out in the fall.

And while I'm glad to hear that the controller body will be the Les Paul, I'll still be keeping around my original run SG's. And yeah, I'll be picking this up on the Wii. It'll apparently still have downloadable and online content, and hopefully some settings for the tilt. When I rock out, you'll know it. I shouldn't be activating star power with the slightest jitter like on the recent models of guitars.
