besides the games you'd expect to see on there, i was really glad to see flashback, out of this world, prince of persia, and two monkey island games. the first three had insane graphics for their times, especially flashback, and the monkey island games were unlike anything i had ever played back then. the only game i can think of that got snubbed was goldeneye. i know it wasn't the first fps, but it definitely helped break ground for fps multiplayer and spending ridiculous amounts of time unlocking things. getting invisibility in the archives on 007 was the most frustrating for me. stupid defense minister mishkin... i hate that guy. he's always standing in the wrong spot.

i spent alotta time playing general chaos and grim fandango, but the game on that list that took most of my time was master of magic. i lost a summer to that game, although i shouldn't say lost since that game is one of my all-time favorites. the only other game i would've liked to see on there was flashback. yeah, i know it supposedly had a "sequel", but i will never recognize that piece of shit as a part of flashback. i think it was just a big series of coincidences that the main character happens to have the same name and is found in suspended animation in a drifting spaceship. also a coincidence that it was made by the same company. lots of coincidences.
