02.23.2007 RUBIK'S CUBE ARTWORK OVERLOAD

I don't know if all or any of these art pieces were made by the secretive Space Invaders rubik's cube artist that I found back in November, but they're just as impressive. Most of them are made by ravaging rubik's cubes into wall art, although some are just simple mosaics. A few of them aren't even gaming related, but I think you'll enjoy the cult classic inclusions - I didn't even like the movie A Clockwork Orange, but I couldn't resist including something as cool sounding as 'Kubrick Rubik' art. My favorite piece is by default anything related to Bubble Bobble, although the sexy shrine above is pretty damn awesome too. Thanks to YouNewb for finding this pixel palace of art.

If they ever make another Katamari Damacy game they should make a level where you can roll up individual polygons. Not just objects, but let players peel every single 3D tile off of each object in the scene. Can you imagine a tiny Prince rolling up the polygons on a high-poly Gears of War scene? If the next Katamari game was for the PS3, and Sony let them use a detailed scene from Metal Gear Solid 4, that alone would sell the console to most PS2 fans. The cell processor might be able to handle millions of polys on screen at once, but I'd like to see it handle the katamari clusterfuck of combining them all into one object.
