03.13.2007 MASSIVE GAMING MOSAIC MURAL

YouNewb found the Amsterdam artist responsible for this mosaic mural. Arno Coenen and his crew of helpers assembled the walls of game art by individual sections on a flat surface, and then connected them all together to decorate the inside of this building. I like how he used old and new Donkey Kong platforms to tie the whole scene together, with other gaming icons patched into the foreground and background. I love seeing gaming culture out in the public - when I think of the future of gaming I think of houses with television screens on the inside and outside of their houses. When I play my PS4 I want to keep my neighbors up all night watching my progress. A simple walk down the street could spoil the endings to a dozen different games, but it would be worth it.
