thats the thing about movie theaters - they dont get any of the admission money. thats why they will gladly give you a refund on your ticket if you didnt like it and ask before the movie has ended, but just try to get a refund on your popcorn, best you'll get is a coupon for another one. ticket prices go up b/c less and less ppl actually go to the movies. i want to see spidey3, but so many said it was dull and listless at places, why not watch it in 1080p in a year. $three tickets= $of a blu-ray disc.

patents are supra powerful business tools, a non-agreement on target trying to force licensing at phenomenal rates is probably why the suit happened. they could sue twenty years from now and they will still get the same outcome as if they sued 3 years ago. heck they'd probably get more $ if sony is infringing and they sue in 20 yrs, but my guess is licensing deals broke down and a statute of limitations period was running.

solid isnt even that good a series- i preferred playing the syphon filter series. i can agree wholeheartedly with jim- he makes good points. wii has a base that cant be broken with the nintendo library, sony just doesnt have one. and yes Halo3 is an fps, but it is worth buying a 360 to play it unless you are an rpg'er or pc fps'er. also- if 1080p graphics can, they will save sony, but only in about five years, unless MS beats them to a 1080p experience. then its bye bye time sony.

I have a working arcade Shinobi machine. Got it on Ebay for 240$ in 1999. yeah ebay was around back then. the lady who sold it to me threw in 30+ master system games when i picked it up. and they still work (i think). what happenned to thunderblade, that could've made the top ten... i never played river city ransom or that rpg- but rented the rest from Erols video... talk about dating yourself.

tc- sony has burned all brand loyalty- so much so, that they are a huge company that continuosly fihgts off bad press(just like apple). if they're so great, why do i need to hear about how much they don't suck? i just wont drink the sony coolaid. i like your list though, too bad nothing you mention is propietary. oh and, just an fyi, the first zelda game was on the NES, not the 64. - another fyi (this one's not a joke though) there are major, major antitrust actions that will destroy all of cupertino. and in the next few years

do you work for Sony tc? it seems like you really love everything they push... you are like the only guy who continually posts that sony is the best. are there any comparably good games on the ps3 yet? i got a ps3 thru a gift/reward website cause i felt gipped after my second ps2 burned out. let me know when sony finally starts looking good on paper, cuase besides tying a dvd player to the ps2, their last big idea was the walkman.
