You've got to have some pretty big Spaceballs to take a video like this and put it on the Internet. I can't imagine playing LAN games all night in these sweaty Stormtrooper suits, it looks like some of them can't even sit down. These guys are actually proud members of the 501st Legion Stormtrooper group online, and they're visiting the G4TV studios to show off their suits. I was hoping it was a trap, and that G4 would hire the Star Wars Kid to come in and fight them all off to establish dork dominance, but they just stand there and play games.

The Dreamhack Winter 2006 convention set out to break the Guinness Book world record for the largest LAN party on Earth, and that's exactly what they accomplished on October 15, 2006. Their original goal was 10,000 people, and they sold all of their attendance tickets, but only 7,752 gamers were officially recorded in December with a total of 7,788 computers at the event. I suspect the largest gathering of virgins record on Earth may have also been squashed unless we can actually trust the people behind the Goofy and Mickey Mouse suits at Disney World. The picture above is the waiting line for the event, and the pictures below show the amount of supplies the convention took to pull off. There's day and night photos, and even a picture of a dork who got wrapped up in cords when his gaming privileges got revoked, but I think it's a little weak that actual sleeping occurred at the event. To break the record there should have been at least one StarCraft induced death due to 50+ hours of straight gameplay.
