01.05.2007 RADIO AND MUSIC PLAYER MADE WII FRIENDLY

I receive at least 20 reader requests a day for how to play rap music on the Wii, so I figured I'd finally help you gangstas out. While writing this I've got "If you a scared mothafucker go to church!" blaring from my family friendly Wii machine. Thankfully there's much more than just rap though. The online music Web site FineTune has a Wii friendly music player that contains a radio (currently disabled due to an overload of fanboys clogging their Intertubes) and the following "Best of _____ 2006" playlists: Rock, R&B/Hip-Hop, Rap, Soft Hits(Red Steel?), Club/Dance, Country, Hot Mix, Latino, Pop, Alternative.

It's definitely Wii friendly, but there's a few interface problems that still need work. When a song finishes it doesn't always go to the next track, but you can browse around other playlists without stopping whatever is currently playing. Also, there's no damn back button, going through the dozens of tracks all over again just to go back is annoying. But you can take the time to make an account and create profile playlists from the main site, so some of these issues might get resolved. As is, I'll give the site and setup a 3/5 rating, at least worth checking out for some new music to stream in just a few clicks.
