02.01.2007 THE ART OF WIIJING

The text in the video explains everything you need to know - he tracks different Wiimote movements to different audio editing commands, allowing him to DJ the song in real time by waving around his arms and keeping the beat to the music. There's half a dozen different controls he uses, which vary from karate styled jabs to drum beating motions. I doubt it would be as fun as Guitar Hero, but if it was improved enough, then Nintendo would definitely have a best selling music game in its future. If you want to try it out on your own Wii then you can read DJ Wiij's instructions and techniques here on his site.

Gotta feel bad for the sixaxis, all it seems like it can do is fly a paper airplane while the Wiimote gets all the fun.

Hey Tom this may not be a comment but I have a question about Mario Kart 64, am I just crazy but didn't you have to unlock the star cup when it came out the first time? I was doing a little VC tonight and just thought about that, would this be related to not being able to save time for tracks. I don't get it you can save in Super Mario 64 on the VC why no Kart? Is NOA really that lazy, but I guess they got my money. I think I'll wait for the 1up VC reviews before I get any more games.
