The newest Gamepro magazine issue has more than a dozen preview pages showing off Halo 3's updated weapons, vehicles, equipment, beta maps, and the levels Shrine, Epitaph, and Last Resort. The most exciting new feature they reveal is the ability to extensively customize your player armor:

"Tired of staring at Master Chief's mug? Halo 3's online mode offers new armor permutations that allow players to customize their personas from head to toe. Will the Covenenat Elite player models be eligible for similar upgrades? Only Bungie knows."  

Create-A-Spartan opens up many questions, none of which Bungie is willing to talk about yet. Will the armor permutations affect your online health meter? Do different sets of armor portray different ranks of any sort? Or is it all just for a fun change of appearance to visually set Halo 3 apart from Halo 2? We'll have to wait and see, Bungie doesn't want to spoil all their secrets, but it's obvious they've still got at least a few more they're keeping from us. So far we've heard more of Final Fantasy Dissidia than we've seen of it, and now we've finally got gameplay details for the PSP game:

• Each character will have a special skill to inflict damage on his opponent
• Each skill will vary from short range to long range and will be executed as such
• Players are encouraged to destroy the level’s environments
• The "Brave" meter is filled by destroying environments or inflicting damage on your enemies  and allows for new attacks when filled
• Special move gauge, when filled, allows the player to unleash a special move that is "typical" of that character’s Final Fantasy special move (i.e. Zidane = Trance)
• EXP and equipment play a role in the game

A lot of people are looking forward to the Wii, and more specifically Twilight Princess for it. If you read Nintendo Power you've gotten a big overdose of Wii previews and details lately, but nobody reads that garbage magazine so here's the best pages ripped from its recent Fahrenhiet 451 worthy edition.

A random Swedish magazine has recently given away pages of details on the much anticipated Halo 3. They announced new weapons, a human cannon, even some details on the vehicles. The 5 page spread also showed off a bunch of screenshots from the game too. Check out the gallery below for more details. Here's a quick summary to save you the time if you're busy:

New Weapons

Spiker: the weapon of choice for brutes
Spartan Laser: An anti-vehicle weapon
Nail Grenade (Resistance says hello): sticks on walls and emits nails
into the air

New Vehicle

Moongoose: The ATV that was supposed to be in Halo 2. It carries 2 people and it doesn’t have any weapons so it’s mainly a means of getting from point A to point B as fast as possible, but players can fire while in it.

New multiplayer features

Man Cannon (hmmm…): launches you into the air. You can still be fired at and you can fire back. It sounds like the jump pads from Unreal and Quake Arena. Though the cannon part could mean that you are a weapon if you collide with someone physically. NO bots. Again.

The X-button will have a special use which Bungie will not reveal.
