02.15.2007 AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE PS2 VIDEO GAME

According to the Dave Willis, the creator of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, a video game based on the popular TV cartoon show will be coming out later this year on PlayStation 2. Excited? It's a golf game.... Still excited?... The game is being developed by Midway, with Willis and Matt Maiellaro taking care of the writing, and they're planning on a summer or fall release for now. Here's what Dave Willis had to say about the game: 

"It’s extreme combat golf. It’s a golf game, but it’s also laced with violence. Frylock is admitted to Jersey Pines, the very prestigious golf course in Jersey, and Shake wants to play, so he goes about ruining the course. So you actually do play golf, but you’re battling the villains and some of your clubs might have a sawed-off shotgun. Carl’s gigantic crabs are lurking in the sandtraps, and the Brownie monsters, and obviously the Mooninites. It’s sort of a racing, violent golf game."

The full interview with Dave will be up on G4TV soon, but as long as the game looks better than this, I'll be buying it to support my favorite Boston terrorists.
