02.21.2007 FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: THE LION WAR GALLERY

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War has a really interesting visual style that meshes together 2D and 3D graphics for its PSP remake. The cinematics combine rusty colors with credits that resemble A Series of Unfortunate Events for an artistic opening video. The game is known as Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Sensou in Japan, and still doesn't have a release date announced yet, but here's plenty of pictures showing what the remake will look like for PSP. Seems like Square Enix didn't alter the original game much, but the cinematic screenshots definitely stick out from the rest. Tactics is many RPG fans' favorite game of all time, so it's good to see it coming back, but there's still no new word on the FF7 remake everyone's waiting for.

Aww, all I remember is that the original Tactics on PSX was too motherfucking hard for me! I rented it when I was a kid, too hard, rented it years later thinking I'd be better, still too hard. Will the third time be the charm with this remake? I rock at the GBA sequel though, despite the stupid goddamn law thing in it.

Samuel: I used to think FFT was too hard as well, until I learned that you can get into random battles to raise your skill. Grinding you characters to Master ninjas before the first chapter ends for the win.

Awesome, thanks Dexter. So this is going to be my third awesome game for the PSP with Daxter and MGS:PO. I can't wait.

Yeah. If you level with random battles, the game is crazy easy. Anyway, this is the FF that I most enjoy, so I'd rather see a remake of this than FF7. Although I really don't want to have to get my hands on a PSP just to play it...
