I dunno, it seems mass effect would be readable even if you didn't know anything about the game. c&c on the other hand, you might have to really really like the game to enjoy the book.

People need to stop confusing the terms "non-exclusive" and "never coming out for your system. ever". Whenever a title is deemed to be multi-platform, people go nuts. Even if the game is still going to be released on their platform, and they'll still be able to play it.
