03.19.2007 THE TYPING OF THE DEAD GAMEPLAY

You know a game sucks when it's reduced to text based battles, and is actually more fun than the original. I hate pretty much all zombie games equally, but I'm talking about the Typing of the Dead version of House of the Dead for Dreamcast. I've heard of the game before, but since it came out half a decade ago I'd never seen what the gameplay looks like. The video above is TheBBPS trying out their typing skills in the game, where you use the Dreamcast keyboard to kill enemies by typing out what they're saying as they approach you. Looks fun but I'd rather play Y's Typing Tutor, a 2D sidescroller that's a lot more fast paced. And free.

Well tell your wives about the bed-wetting frontier spirit with robosnot pink tofu. And always remember to have proper supervision while operating a flamethrower. This game looks worth it just for the crazy stuff it makes you type.
