Every week there's a new Line Rider recording video worth posting, but I've been waiting for a level related to video games to show up. Someone finally semi-recreated the first level of Super Mario Bros. in Line Rider one line at a time, and set the doodle dude off to reach the flag. He needed a few extra hills for jumps, and skipped all the secrets, but he made it there pretty quickly. And if this is your first time seeing a Line Rider level in action and you're disappointed, then check out this huge level that combines Tony Hawk grinding with Katamari Damacy music. Using the Firefox browser to view the Wii Shop Channel, someone over on GoNintendo has discovered what is most likely the Virtual Console Christmas gifts that Nintendo will be giving us Wii owners on Monday, December 25th. Super Mario Bros., ToeJam and Earl, and R-Type all appear to be coming out next week, but GoNintendo insists only ToeJam and Earl is confirmed. And despite it looking like all 3 will be free, and, you know, it being Christmas and all, Nintendo will still probably charge us for the games.

I'm sure plenty of people will still pay for Super Mario Bros. though - I'm glad that after 20 years there will be more children playing the classic for the first time, but come on Nintendo, Scrooge and Sony has such tempting alliteration to it, quit being Nintendicks and do the right thing. Had Super Mario Bros. come out any other day of the year I probably would have bought it to see if my mom or dad could finally get past World 3-2 two decades later, but forget it. I'll bust out all three barely functional NESes and do it the old fashioned way.

It's called Nintendo Amusement Park, however it is not actually an amusement park since there is only one ride, but when that one ride harnesses you into a Mario suit and gives you a chance to jump around the Mushroom Kingdom, what more could you want? Some of the many orgasmic abilities provided to you are jumping over obstacles, landing on and riding moving platforms, and even smashing enemies. You even get to collect gold coins and punch power-up boxes! Jump Mario, jump!
